High On Security - Low On Price
Secure n safe computing is the order of the day, whether one is at home or at office. Viruses, spyware, spam are problems common to both users. But in the office there are other threats to take care of, viz. unauthorized intrusion inside the office network, web content filtering (block non-work sites), etc. But while, large enterprises are able to afford the costs of network security, the small offices are deprived of the same. But not any longer.. Cyberoam has introduced a low cost capable firewall, the CR 15i. So small offices that want the full security works need look no further!

Tips On Safe Surfing On The Net Highway
Install antivirus(AV) and keep it up to date, run a regular scan, and let it check your incoming messages.
Use a firewall(like Cyberoam's products mentioned above) - Prevent unwanted inbound and outbound traffic on your PC.
Use impassable passwords - A "strong" password mixes numbers, letters and punctuation marks. Don't use the same password on every site you surf. Alter your passwords regularly.
Don't AutoComplete passwords - Browsers will not only store your passwords but also fill them in for you. This is a bad idea on a shared or office-based PC. In Firefox, use the master password instead. In IE, go to Internet Options, click the Content tab, and go to AutoComplete settings to disable.
Don't use Internet Explorer - Use Firefox. All versions of IE are vulnerable to Gumblar and similar Web threats, but especially IE 6 is an infection waiting to happen. If a site or application requires IE, update to IE 8 if you can. If you can't, download IE 7 as a bare minimum (although it's by no means a remedy).
Phishing - Unless you are 110 percent certain, don't click links in e-mail. Though a message may look as if it's from PayPal, your bank, or even your friend, if you're at all suspicious, follow your instincts. The URL provided might look like safe, but the link under it could go to a different site.
